Who is Biagio Izzo

Born in Napoli in 1962, he is an actor, comedian, cabaret artist, and television presenter. On the big screen, he has starred in films including Body Guards – Guardie del corpo (2000), Merry Christmas (2001), In questo mondo di ladri (2004), and Paolo Sorrentino’s Parthenope (2024). On television, he has been a regular on Buona Domenica, Made in Sud, and Stasera tutto è possibile, and in 2015 he won Si può fare! on Rai 1.

The performance is part of the second edition of Pizza Fest – una fetta di storia, from 30 October to 1 November, between Corso Italia and Piazza dei Maestri Vetrai, featuring cooking shows, live music, food & beer, and, for the first time, gluten-free pizza.
