How to Talk to Enea.

THE METHOD

A Concierge, not a
Search Engine.

Twenty-five years of Google taught us keywords; ChatGPT taught us commands. Enea does a third job: it knows one town only — real opening times, closures, shuttles, car parks, gathered by hand by the people who live there — and works like a concierge of flesh and blood.

That changes how you talk to it. You don’t «search» and you don’t «command»: you describe your problem, and Enea picks the right tool — an answer, a map, an itinerary. Five rules and you’re set.

The Manual

The 5 Golden Rules.

1
Rule 1 of 5

Talk, don’t type

No search-engine keywords. «Gaeta parking» is a search; «where do I leave the car to go into town tonight?» is a question. Enea understands the second one far better — and that is where it shines.

2
Rule 2 of 5

Say who you are and what you need

Children? A dog? No car? Two days or a week? Everything you say about yourself turns a list into an answer made for you. You would tell a real concierge without thinking: it works the same here.

3
Rule 3 of 5

Ask it about Gaeta, not the world

Enea doesn’t write emails and doesn’t know the price of the Colosseum: general-purpose models are there for the world. It knows one town, but with the real data: Monday closures, seasonal car parks, the last shuttle.

4
Rule 4 of 5

Let it choose the tool

Enea answers the question, it doesn’t execute the command. If a map helps the answer, the map appears on its own; if an itinerary helps, the itinerary arrives. No need to order «give me the map»: describe the problem instead.

5
Rule 5 of 5

Don’t ask the same thing twice

With other assistants, trying again «works»: a different answer comes out every time. With Enea the source is always the real archive: the wording can change, the substance can’t. If it says something isn’t there, that is information — not a fault.

In Practice

The Same Question, Before and After.

Pick a topic: you will see the request written as if for Google, the same one asked as you would ask a concierge, and how the answer changes. We didn’t invent the good questions: they really were asked of Enea (we paraphrase them here).

«Parking»That’s a search, not a question
«Where do I park for the Montagna Spaccata? I arrive around 10 with a pushchair.»
What you get: The handiest car park for the Montagna Spaccata, with the rate and a walking route a pushchair can manage.
«Make me an itinerary»That’s a search, not a question
«I have two days, I’m staying in the centre and I have no car: sea and old town.»
What you get: Two days built to fit: beaches, the medieval quarter, and getting around on foot or by shuttle only.
«Beaches»That’s a search, not a question
«A day of beach and history, with a small dog.»
What you get: The right beach for travelling with a dog, and what to visit nearby for the rest of the day.
«Restaurants»That’s a search, not a question
«Tonight we’d like something local, there are four of us, near Serapo.»
What you get: Where to eat local food near Serapo — tiella included — with the real opening times.
«Events»That’s a search, not a question
«What is there to do tomorrow evening with a couple of 15-year-olds?»
What you get: Tomorrow evening’s events that suit teenagers, with times, places and how to get there.
Fair Expectations

What It Can Do, What It Won’t.

Ask it for…

  • What to see and do, today or across your stay
  • Beaches, car parks, shuttles, restricted zones, times and closures
  • Itineraries made to fit (family, couple, dog, no car…)
  • Where to eat local food, what’s on, pharmacies
  • How to get around: on foot, by bus, by shuttle

Don’t ask it to…

  • Write emails, essays or homework: that is not its job
  • Cover other towns or the wider world: it knows Gaeta and its surroundings
  • Handle personal data: it neither asks for nor wants your name, phone or email in the chat
  • Book and pay on your behalf: it puts you in touch, you decide
  • Change its answer if you keep asking: if something isn’t there, it isn’t there
Frequently Asked Questions

Before You Open the Chat

  • They do different jobs. General-purpose models know the world and carry out commands: they write, summarise, generate. Enea knows one town only — real opening times, closures, shuttles, car parks, gathered by hand — and works as a concierge: it answers your need, it doesn’t take orders.

  • Because it decides what to show you from what you need, not from what you named. If the map helps the answer, it appears on its own. That is a design choice: a concierge picks the tool, a vending machine executes.

  • No: the wording changes, the substance doesn’t. The source is always the archive of real data about the town, so the answer stays the same — because it is the right one. If Enea says something isn’t there, asking again won’t make it exist.

  • Give it context, as you would a concierge of flesh and blood: who you are, how long you are staying, how you get around, what you enjoy. «Two days, no car, with a 3-year-old» produces a day made to fit; «what to see» produces a list.

  • It is free, it runs in the browser, and it asks for no app, no account and no personal data. Open the chat and write: that’s all.
