The show
In this version, Lo Schiaccianoci becomes a story about Clara’s coming of age—a young girl who transforms into an adolescent within her dream. The choreographer builds the narrative around Clara and her mother, using symbols such as a stairway leading to the sky to convey hardship and elevation, culminating in the final scene where the girl steps out into life with self-awareness. Dance, music, and spoken word weave together, performed by a large ensemble of Italian and international dancers.
The following day, Sunday, 29 November, the company will present the same performance in Tivoli.
