Is it really free?
Yes. The app and all the stories are free, with no account and no ads.
Does it work offline?
Yes, for listening. Before you set off the app downloads the stories of your route and the map to your phone: on the road you do not need a connection.
Do I have to hold my phone?
No. The story starts by itself when you reach the place, even with the screen off and the phone in your pocket.
In which languages?
Italian, English, French, German and Spanish. The app uses your phone’s language.
How long does the tour take?
It depends on the route: the medieval quarter fits in half a day, and there are one-day and two-day routes too. Each story lasts about 40 seconds.
Does it use a lot of battery?
Location is used only while the tour is running, with an always-visible notification you can stop it from.
Can I listen from home?
Yes. Every place has «Listen now» and there is «Try from home», a test walk. Here on the website you hear the first 15 seconds.
Who is telling the stories?
