In Gaeta, summer doesn’t end in August. In September 2026, the historic center turns into «Gaeta Città dei Festival»: every Saturday and Sunday, from 18:00 to 23:00, Via Indipendenza, Piazza della Libertà, and Via Annunziata transform into an open-air stage featuring music, theater, dance, and street art. Free admission, always.
The program is promoted by the City of Gaeta together with the Ministry of Culture, Regione Lazio, ASP Istituti Riuniti del Lazio, and ATCL, along with Scuderie MArteLive and Spaghetti Unplugged. Four different festival series, two major headline acts — Carl Brave and Valerio Lundini — and four weekends, each one unique.
The program, weekend by weekend
September 5-6 — Frammenti MArteLive
It kicks off with Frammenti MArteLive, the itinerant “total show” format: music, theater, dance, cinema, and visual arts spread throughout the alleyways and squares of the old town.
September 12-13 — Buskers Festival, Carl Brave, and Valerio Lundini
The packed weekend. The Gaeta Buskers Festival brings jugglers, acrobats, circus performances, and music to the streets; and for the Spaghetti Unplugged Summer Party, two live shows take the stage: Saturday 12 Carl Brave, the Roman singer-songwriter and producer who grew up performing on the Spaghetti Unplugged stages; Sunday 13 Valerio Lundini & I Vazzanikki, the surreal concert by the most unpredictable comedian and musician of his generation.
September 19-20 — the double weekend
The two events join forces: Frammenti MArteLive and Gaeta Buskers Festival together, in the same weekend, along the streets of the historic center.
September 26-27 — SU:Ggestiva
Closing with SU:Ggestiva, “pure music for extraordinary places”: live performances designed for listening, in dialogue with the most beautiful spots of the old town. And during the same weekend, in Via Buonomo, there is also the third stage of “Le Strade del Gusto e dell’Inclusione”: music in the center and culinary flavors just steps away.
