Animated Seafaring Nativity Scene at the Gaeta Sea Museum: from 5 December 2026

From 5 December 2026 to 10 January 2027 the Gaeta Sea Museum (Museo del Mare) hosts the animated seafaring nativity scene (presepio marinaro animato), run by the «Gaeta e il Mare» cultural association. It is one of the events of Favole di Luce 2026-2027, the Gaeta Christmas lights.

Opening times

• Every day: 17:00-20:00.
• Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays: also in the morning, 10:00-13:00.

The official programme does not give a price: we will add it as soon as it is announced.

Where it is and how to get there

The Sea Museum is in Medieval Gaeta, a limited traffic zone: leave your car outside, at Piazzale Caboto or Piazzale 5 Febbraio, and walk along Lungomare Caboto, past installations 19 to 26 of the Christmas lights map. Every alternative is in our guide where to park for the Gaeta Christmas lights.
