Ice Nativity Scene in Gaeta 2026-2027: Opening Times and Dates on Corso Cavour

The ice nativity scene in Gaeta is back on Corso Cavour from Saturday 14 November 2026 until 10 January 2027, during Favole di Luce, the Gaeta Christmas lights. It is made by the Italian Ice Sculptors Association (Associazione Italiana Scultori di Ghiaccio): life-size figures carved in ice, inside a refrigerated structure. Ice nativity scene opening times 2026-2027

• 14 November to 13 December: Fridays 16:00-20:00; Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays 10:00-13:00 and 16:00-21:00.
• 18 December to 10 January 2027: open every day.

The official programme does not give the opening times from 18 December or the ticket price: we will add them as soon as they are announced. Weekend afternoons are the busiest: weekend mornings are the quietest time to go.

Where it is and how to get there

On Corso Cavour, in the centre of Gaeta, along the Christmas lights route, a short walk from Piazza della Libertà and the Fontana di San Francesco.
