The attraction

What makes it special

The Temple of St. Francis dominates Gaeta from the top of a scenic promontory. Founded in the 13th century and renovated in the Neo-Gothic period, it preserves valuable works of art and historical evidence. Its terrace offers one of the most spectacular views of the Gulf of Gaeta. It is considered one of the city’s landmarks.
