“La Favorita” Battery is a historic defensive post located in Gaeta. Built in Bourbon times, it was part of the system of fortifications designed to protect the coastline and the port. Restored and open to the public, today it represents a valuable testimony to the city’s military history. Its panoramic location also offers splendid views of the sea and the surrounding promontory.
