The Temple of San Francesco overlooks Gaeta from a panoramic headland: founded in the 13th century and rebuilt in neo-Gothic style, it is one of the symbols of the town. During Favole di Luce its façade becomes a screen: the drone films it at night, covered in blue and gold projections, with the old town and the harbour lit up around it.
The 2025-2026 lights stayed on from 9 November 2025 to 11 January 2026. Everything about the Temple is on its page.
