Today I am taking you to the bell tower of Sant'Erasmo. A 57-metre tower, begun in the 12th century and completed in 1279. Its coloured majolica tiles and Arab-style arches make it recognisable from all around the bay. And up there, at the top, you can only climb on a few dates, by booking.
