Starting today, Scopri Gaeta has a newsletter. The first issue went out on Ferragosto (August 15th), and starting next Thursday, it will arrive on our regular schedule: one email a week, on Thursday morning, just in time to plan your weekend.
It is not a list of deals and it is not a promotional bulletin. It is what we would tell a friend texting us on a Wednesday evening asking, “I’m coming to Gaeta, what should I do?”.
What you will find inside
- Weekend events — concerts, evening events, sagre (local food festivals), special openings. Complete with times, locations, and prices, taken directly from the listings we keep updated on the site.
- A place worth the detour — a beach, an itinerary, a corner of the medieval quarter that many miss.
- Practical information — where you can actually park, what the sea is like, which roads to avoid, where to eat well without waiting in line.
- A bit of reading — local stories, whether you want to arrive prepared or you experience Gaeta year-round.
It takes two minutes to read. If on any given Thursday we have nothing interesting to share, we prefer to keep it brief rather than clutter your inbox.

Who it is for
For anyone planning a holiday in Gaeta and wanting to know what to expect before arriving. For those spending a weekend here and who do not want to find out on Monday that there was a concert in the piazza on Saturday. And for those who live in Gaeta, but only find out about one event out of three when it is already over.
How subscription works
Enter your email in the form above and you will receive a confirmation message: you must click the link inside that message to activate your subscription. It is an extra step, and we keep it intentionally — so that no one ends up on the list by mistake or because of someone else, and everyone who is there is there because they genuinely wanted to be.
If the confirmation email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder: it happens, especially with certain email providers. And if you change your mind, there is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email — one click, no questions asked.
