It is a live comedy show that starts from Napoli and Biagio Izzo’s unique worldview to take an ironic look at the quirks, habits, and contradictions everyone recognizes in themselves: everyday gestures, local expressions, familiar situations, and the classic «all’italiana» way of handling problems and unforeseen events. Who is Biagio Izzo

Born in Napoli in 1962, he is an actor, comedian, cabaret artist, and television presenter. On the big screen, he has starred in films including Body Guards – Guardie del corpo (2000), Merry Christmas (2001), In questo mondo di ladri (2004), and Paolo Sorrentino’s Parthenope (2024). On television, he has been a regular on Buona Domenica, Made in Sud, and Stasera tutto è possibile, and in 2015 he won Si può fare! on Rai 1.

The performance wraps up the second edition of Pizza Fest – una fetta di storia, running from 23 to 25 October between Corso Italia and Piazza dei Maestri Vetrai, featuring cooking shows, live music, food & beer, and, for the first time, gluten-free pizza. The festival kicks off on Friday 23 with a free concert by Cugini di Campagna.

This is Gaeta’s newest public square, opened in December 2025 in the town center between Corso Italia, Via Serapide, and the former Avir industrial complex. Open location on Google Maps.
