Feast of Our Lady of Porto Salvo 2026 — The Feast of the Sea
Three days of celebrations from August 7 to 9: illuminations, a concert by Enrico Ruggeri, the procession of the Madonna, and fireworks at midnight. Free admission.
What awaits you
The Feast of Our Lady of Porto Salvo, Gaeta’s “Feast of the Sea,” is traditionally celebrated on the second Sunday in August. In 2026, the festivities will last three days, from Friday, August 7, to Sunday, August 9, and are organized by the Parish of Saints Cosmas and Damian together with the E.T.S. Gaeta Cultural Association.
Our Lady of Porto Salvo is the patron saint of seafarers and those who work at sea: the procession is the highlight of the festival, which brings the neighborhood of the same name to life with lights, concerts, street stalls, and fireworks.
