On Friday 1 January 2027 at 12:00, on Serapo beach, there is «Un tuffo nel nuovo anno» (a dip into the new year), 16th edition, organised by Giorgio Marinaccio and Massimo Masella: it is the New Year’s Day dip in Gaeta and the last New Year event in the Favole di Luce 2026-2027 programme, the Gaeta Christmas lights.

The official programme does not give the exact spot on the beach or how to sign up: we will add them as soon as they are announced. Serapo also has another New Year’s Day dip, run by the Nave di Serapo beach club: how it went on 1 January 2026 (in Italian).
How to get there
Serapo is a ten-minute walk from the centre. On 1 January the car parks along the Serapo seafront are emptier than in summer, but they fill up around midday: arrive a little early.
The evening before: from 17:00 the Sciusci of Gaeta in the streets of the centre and from 23:30 the big New Year’s Eve party at Molo Santa Maria. The full programme: New Year’s Eve in Gaeta.
