Polveriera Trabacco
What makes it special
This building is an important reminder of Gaeta’s complex system of military fortifications from the Aragonese and Bourbon periods. Together with the Carolina and Ferdinando magazines, it formed the fortress’s trio of powder magazines and was originally used to store gunpowder.
