The warm sun, the crystal-clear sea of the Riviera di Ulisse, the urge to take a dip… and the never-ending nightmare of finding a place to park. Let’s face it: driving around in circles for hours looking for parking near Serapo or Sant’Agostino is the extreme sport that no one wants to do on vacation.
But what if we told you that this year you could head to the beach feeling relaxed, without even getting in your car, without paying a single euro for blue-line parking, and while helping the environment?
The Free Eco-Friendly Shuttle to Gaeta’s beaches is finally back—the service that will literally transform your summer of 2026! Here’s how it works and the secret trick to never missing a ride.

Zero Stress, Zero Costs: How the Service Works
Forget about traffic along the waterfront. This initiative, supported by the Lazio Region and the City of Gaeta, provides residents and tourists with convenient, eco-friendly buses that connect the entire city, from Medieval Gaeta to the beaches further north.
When is it active? The shuttle provides service all day long, making it ideal both for those who love the first light of dawn and for those who want to enjoy the sea until sunset. It runs continuously from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on the following days:
- June: Saturday and Sunday (June 20, 21, 27, and 28).
- July and August 2026: Every day, 7 days a week!
The Route: The route is designed to pick up beachgoers at key locations throughout the city. The starting point is the picturesque Piazza Traniello (Medieval Gaeta), from which the route crosses the city center, passes near Serapo Beach, and continues along Via Flacca to the terminus at Sant’Agostino, making dozens of stops along the way for everyone’s convenience.

Do you hate reading schedule boards? Ask Enea!
We know what you’re thinking: “That’s all great, but now do I have to download yet another unreadable PDF onto my phone just to figure out what time the shuttle passes by my hotel?”
Absolutely not. We have a “tip” for you.
Our virtual assistant, Enea, has memorized all the schedules, routes, and stops for the Eco Shuttle. It’s easy—just open the chat in the bottom right corner and ask him:
💬 “Enea, I’m at the Hotel Mirasole. What time does the next shuttle to Sant’Agostino leave?” 💬 “Enea, take me to the nearest stop—I want to go downtown!”
In an instant, Enea will not only tell you the exact time, down to the minute, but will also show you the stop right on the interactive map, opening your smartphone’s navigation app to guide you on foot to the boarding point.
Your only worry will be deciding what flavor of ice cream to have after your swim.
👇 Want to put Enea to the test? Click on the chat icon at the bottom and ask him for information about your stop right away!
The “Eco-Shuttle” initiative is made possible thanks to funding from the Lazio Region (Resolution No. 171 of March 26, 2026), in collaboration with the City of Gaeta, Gaeta Città del Mare 2026, and Pro Loco Gaeta.
