Frequently Asked Questions

How can I tell if the LTZ is active right now?

You can check the real-time status in the “ZTL Lanes” box at the top of this page. If you see the Red dot, the gates are active and you cannot enter without a pass. If it is Green, transit is free. Always remember to also look at the light boards on the street before entering.

Yes, but you must report your vehicle’s license plate to the accommodation before your arrival or immediately after. They will enter it into the City’s portal to authorize your transit and parking (if applicable).

The ZTL mainly affects Gaeta’s S. Erasmo (Medieval) district and, during summer evening hours, the section of Via Indipendenza and Lungomare Caboto. See the map above to see the exact boundaries.

It means that the pharmacy listed in our widget provides service even during closing hours (night, Sunday and holidays).

At night, the pharmacy works with “closed doors.” The doorbell must be rung and an urgent prescription must be presented for prescription drugs. A call-out fee may apply.

Yes, the blue stripes are also charged on Sundays.

You can use coins in parking meters or digital apps such as EasyPark, which allow you to pay only for actual minutes of parking and extend it remotely.
