contest is organized by <strong>ScopriGaeta.it<\/strong>, with registered office in Via del Colle, Contrada Canali, 1 1trav,dx Tax code\/VAT <strong>IT03305780599<\/strong>. The initiative is hosted and managed on the web platform: <code>scoprigaeta.it<\/code>. <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 20px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\"> <\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Art. 2 &#8211; Type and Purpose (Exclusion of Presidential Decree 430\/2001).<\/h3>\n\n<p>The initiative does not fall under the discipline of prize contests (pursuant to Article 6 paragraph 1 of Presidential Decree 430\/2001) because:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"1\">\n<li>The prizes are in the nature of consideration for services rendered (assignment of copyright on the winning photographs for promotional purposes in the area) and not mere handouts.<\/li>\n\n<li>The initiative has artistic, cultural and territorial enhancement purposes for the city of Gaeta.<\/li>\n\n<li>The selection of winners is based on artistic merit and popular approval, with no method of drawing lots.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 20px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\"> <\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Art. 3 &#8211; Duration of the Contest<\/h3>\n\n<p>The contest will be held according to the following schedule:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Photo submission opening:<\/strong> December 10, 2025.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Public voting opening:<\/strong> December 12, 2025.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Photo submission and voting deadline:<\/strong> Jan. 6, 2026 (11:59 p.m.).<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Ranking check and proclamation:<\/strong> Within days after closing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 20px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\"> <\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Art. 4 &#8211; Theme of the Contest<\/h3>\n\n<p>Participants are invited to upload photographs that enhance the Gaeta area. Eligible subjects include, but are not limited to: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tourist attractions and monuments.<\/li>\n\n<li>Luminaries and city events.<\/li>\n\n<li>Landscapes, sea and characteristic views.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 20px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\"> <\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Art. 5 &#8211; Modalities of Participation<\/h3>\n\n<p>Participation is free of charge and is open to all users <strong>over 18 years of age<\/strong>. To participate, the user must fill out the appropriate form on the dedicated page <code>scoprigaeta.it\/partecipa-al-contest<\/code>. Each participant may submit an <strong>unlimited number of<\/strong> photographs. Photos must be original, the exclusive property of the author, not covered by third party rights and free of invasive logos, watermarks or overlay signatures.   <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 20px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\"> <\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Art. 6 &#8211; Moderation and Technical Jury.<\/h3>\n\n<p>All uploaded images will undergo prior moderation (&#8220;Approval&#8221;) before being published in the gallery. Moderation and supervision are by the <g id=\"gid_0\">Scopri Gaeta Staff<\/g> assisted by an assigned <g id=\"gid_1\">Professional Photographer<\/g>. Images will be unquestionably discarded:  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Offensive, vulgar, inciting hatred, or infringing on the privacy of others.<\/li>\n\n<li>Blatantly downloaded from the Internet or not original.<\/li>\n\n<li>Technically unsuitable (e.g., low resolution, out of focus, off topic).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 20px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\"> <\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Art. 7 &#8211; Voting System and Fraud Security.<\/h3>\n\n<p>Voting is done electronically open to the public via the web platform. Users can express a positive preference (&#8220;Like&#8221;) or discard the image (&#8220;Pass&#8221;). To ensure the regularity of the competition and the principle of unambiguous voting, the system adopts advanced security measures:  <\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"1\">\n<li><strong>Device Recognition:<\/strong> Use of <em>Device Fingerprinting<\/em> technologies and Technical Session Cookies.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>IP tracking:<\/strong> Recording IP address in anonymized and encrypted form.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Automatic Blocking:<\/strong> The system automatically inhibits subsequent voting attempts for the same photo from the same user\/device.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>The Organizer reserves the unquestionable right to conduct system log checks and <strong>cancel\/remove votes<\/strong> that show anomalies attributable to the use of bots, automated scripts, VPNs or other circumvention systems.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 20px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\"> <\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Art. 8 &#8211; Ranking and Awards<\/h3>\n\n<p>The ranking is visible in real time (&#8220;Live&#8221;) on the website. At the end of voting (January 6, 2026), the top 5 ranked photos, after technical verification of regularity and absence of fraud, will be awarded the following prizes in order of finish: <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 20px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\"> <\/div>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>1st Runner-up:<\/strong> <strong><em>A stay for two at the Sapore di Mare B&amp;B<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n\n<li><strong>2nd Runner-up:<\/strong> <strong><em>One beach entry at Aeneas Landing.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n\n<li><strong>3rd Runner-up:<\/strong> <strong><em>A spa treatment for two at the Mirasole Hotel Spa<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n\n<li><strong>4th Runner-up:<\/strong> <strong><em>A day of boating at Oltremare Charter<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n\n<li><strong>5th Place Winner:<\/strong> <strong><em>Dinner for two at K\u00e8 Eat Restaurant<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div aria-hidden=\"true\"> <\/div>\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 20px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><b>Each participant can win only one prize, even if he\/she places more than one photo among the top ones<\/b> (in which case the prize will flow to the next photo by a different author).<\/div>\n\n<p> <\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>Prizes are intended as consideration for the transfer of rights to use the image and as recognition of personal merit.
